Here’s my latest update from my wedding archives that I have yet to post about. Anna & Joe had an amazing Jekyll Island Wedding on new years eve. If you aren’t familiar with Jekyll Island, it’s a private island with only a few resort hotels making it the perfect location for an intimate wedding. Anna & Joe are good friends with a couple of my previous clients, so I came down early so I could both photograph the rehearsal as well as spend time with my friends while making new ones.
Their wedding location was absolutely perfect. Nestled under a low hanging tree with spanish moss hanging down behind them, slightly cloudy sky and perfect weather. The Jekyll Island club has so many different locations for weddings and this one fit both the beauty and elegance Anna & Joe were looking for.
After the ceremony, everyone partied down. Did I mention it was New Years? On an Island? Ya, to say the reception was completely unchained would be an understatement. Lots of dancing, drinking, toasting, dancing and the couple was sent off and met everyone at the after party to ring in the new year.
