Alyson & Michael’s Brier Creek wedding day felt like I was just meeting up with old friends along with some new ones. I had shot their engagement session earlier this year so when the day of the wedding came, people asked “How I knew the couple” because we just were so comfortable with each other. I do love shooting engagements because of exactly that – it gets all the nerves and awkwardness out of the way so on the wedding day, we just immediately go right back where we left off.
Alyson & Michael’s Brier Creek Wedding was the first time I had a chance to really photograph around the grounds with my clients and we took full advantage of it for sure. One of my favorite photos ever is below.. let’s just call it #lickgate. There or may not be a full on cheek lick (I’ll let you guess who licked who). LOL. Anyway, the wedding ceremony at ST. Francis of Assisi went off flawlessly and we decided to do the family formals outside the Brier Creek clubhouse. We moved onto the golf course for more couples portraits and ended up, of course, in the amazing ballroom for the rest of the evening. I cannot say enough good things about all the vendors for the wedding (see below list) and how great of a time we all had not just working together, but enjoying such an amazing event with our amazing clients.
I hope you enjoy few photos from Alyson & Mike’s Brier Creek Wedding!
