Let me first start off by saying what an awesome place Beaufort, NC is to get married. I unfortunately didn’t get down in time to really cruise around town, but the chance I did get makes me want to go back. If you want a coastal wedding, but not necessarily on the beach, this is the place to look at! I know of a fantastic photographer who can photograph your wedding too. :)
Mandy & David were married on the waterfront in Beaufort, NC at the historic Duncan House. Being right on the edge of Front street, the house has water on two sides and the most amazing natural light flooding the rooms. This, of course, makes me happy. :) I arrived just as Ginger Mullins was finishing up a bridemaids hair and starting on Mandy’s makeup. Mandy, as you’ll see below, doesn’t take a bad photograph. After a killer mini portrait session, they were married under a trellis right on the water and we celebrated under a tent also on the water. With a kickin band, great food and a wonderful group of friends and relatives, I had quite alot of photos come from the evening!
