One of the factors that make being a wedding photographer particularly challenging is all of the variables that come into play. This was especially true for Caroline’s bridal portraits. Her dress alterations went, well, not as she had hoped and after some investigating, we located a very talented seamstress who could make the necessary changes within a very short timeframe (one week). Because of this, however, our originally schedule bridal portrait shoot had to be pushed back. The only weekend I had available was one where I was in Wrightsville Beach, NC for another photography session. Well Caroline was pretty excited about the idea of a beach bridal portrait so, needless to say, they ended up meeting me there and we captured some really incredible bridal portraits.
We started off behind the house I was staying at. It was on the sound side of Wrightsville beach and had spectacular scenery for her bridal portraits. From there, we moved to the Ocean side at a lovely spot I had been to before. From here, we could photograph the dunes, the ocean or all of the above. We ended up the session well after sunset and, because of that, we captured some gorgeous colors in the twilight sky. I hope you enjoy a few choice selections from Caroline’s bridal portrait session.
