As is usual in the time of covid, I’ve been meeting with Casey & Teddy over zoom calls. It’s convenient because not only does it keep us socially distanced, they live in Colorado so besides being VERY socially distant, it’s just not convenient for them to pop into the studio. We’ve been discussing their Cary engagement session for a couple of weeks as Casey is obsessed with the Carolina blue skies we get.
Casey grew up in Cary so we decided to use some of the Cary landmarks for their session. Knowing she loves the color of the sky, the warm sunlight and Cary, we came up with our plan. It’s always fun to photograph someone you’ve never met in person before. As luck would have it though, Casey is a professional model so much of the posing came easy to her. Teddy, much to his credit, rocked the session just as hard. This is no easy feat when you are paired with someone who has a lot more experience then you.
We started out at the Cary Downtown Park and,let me say, what a beautiful location! I’ve not used this location before but it has definitely become one of my favorite places. From there, we moved to the soccer fields Casey used to play on. As they are both huge Manchester fans, we of course had to include the jerseys.
