Over the years i’ve taught close to 30 photography bootcamps to countless amateur and professional photographers. I’ve set these classes up so you can start with the Photography Bootcamp, which teaches basic camera skills like composition, shooting manually, understanding your camera meter, etc. The next class is the Shooting Bootcamp which takes us into the field where we learn to & find use natural light, work thru complex metering and lighting scenarios and introduce off-camera flash into your work. The “3rd” class is one i’ve only offered once previously – in Myrtle Beach.
Name: Lighting Bootcamp
Date: December 13th, 2015
Time: 11am – 7pm
Location: Leslie-Alford-Mims house Holly Springs, NC
I’m proud to announce that due to multiple requests to hold one locally, I’ve set one up in Holly Springs, NC on December 13th. This is a very intense, 8 hour class which is very hands on with lots of one-on-one instruction to insure you get each concept before moving on to the next. How to make on-camera flash appear off-camera, controlling your flash, naturally blending your flash with ambient light, lighting angles, multiple lights on location and much more.
We’ll break down photos and discuss how they were lit as well as discussing strategies for each attendee on how they can get the results they are looking for using flash, modifiers & natural light.

Look forward to seeing you there!
