Paula & Filip | Carolina Inn Wedding

Paula and Filip had one of the most energetic and fun weddings I’ve ever attended. Their Carolina Inn Wedding, located in Chapel Hill, NC, was a perfect backdrop for their Indian wedding ceremony. The Inn makes the perfect wedding venue as it has large rooms available for getting ready as well as for the ceremony and reception all conveniently located in one place.

The day begin with the bridal party getting ready on opposite sides of the Inn. Paula and her bridesmaids wore traditional Indian sarees and Filip and his groomsmen, sherwanis. For his baraat, Filip was escorted to the front of the Carolina Inn in a Mustang along with drums and lots of dancing. The baraat is important in Indian culture as it symbolizes the welcoming of the groom into the bride’s family.

Following the baraat, the wedding guests headed indoors for a 45 minute ceremony which was beautifully and elaborately decorated. Following the ceremony and formals, the bride and groom changed into their second outfits for the remainder of the evening. The party continued into the reception where there was lots and lots of dancing. We’re so excited to share some of our favorite images from Paula and Filip’s wedding day!
