Morgan & Matt – Wedding Portraits

Seems that some times I get on a roll and will shoot many of the same types of sessions without really planning on it.  Maybe it’s a subconscious thing and I just recommend what’s on my mind.  I dunno, either way I do know I really, REALLY enjoy shooting these types of day after sessions.  Now since I didn’t actually photograph their wedding, I’ll call this a Wedding Portraits session.  Morgan & Matt’s wedding was held on a gorgeous North Carolina Beach but the day got rather hot and they couldn’t stay out as long as they wanted for portraits with their photographer.  As we couldn’t really top the scenery they had for their wedding, we decided to go more contemporary for their session.

I spoke with one of the truly wonderful locations in Raleigh, the Renaissance at North Hills and got their permission to use their gorgeous property for the wedding portraits.  Not only is the inside of the property simply stunning, the surrounding grounds are simply perfect for an evening wedding portrait session.  I really cannot express how much I enjoy shooting these.  We had plenty of time, can make the small tweaks that, for me, take a really good photo and make it into a great one!  I hope you enjoy a few photos from Morgan & Matt’s wedding portrait session!
