My sincere apologies for lack of updates recently. To be honest I have been so busy that blogging has taken a back seat. I have tons and tons of client photos I will blog soon but I wanted to make this one about me. In March of this year, we flew out to Las Vegas to take in some of the educational opportunities at the WPPI convention (Wedding Portrait Photographers International). Aside from numerous internationally acclaimed speakers, they have one of the largest trade shows in the county (which is a big reason we went). One of the vendors who are a large part of the trade show is the FJWestcott lighting company – a premiere photographic lighting company.
I’ve gotten to know a few of the folks at FJWestcott and was thrilled when we worked out an opportunity for me to speak at their booth about their lighting equipment. Specifically, I was demonstrating their Spiderlight TD6’s which I use both in my studio and in the field. Westcott provided a great model, a mic and a videographer to document the talk. It was only 30 minutes so I could only discuss 2 different lighting setups but had a blast with it! It was the last day of the trade show so alot of people were “talked oiut” but I still managed to get a small crowd going.
I’d like to thank Christobal Perez for taking a couple of photos while I was speaking and our lovely model for, well, being lovely! The first two shots are from Christobal, the rest are of our model and the last is Christobal (LOL) getting in on some of the action.
