Jefry & Zenia opted to have their North Carolina wedding at the Preston Woodall house, located just outside of Raleigh in Clayton, NC. With Jefry being a photographer, the pressure was on to deliver not just a fantastic wedding, but photos that are one-of-a-kind.
If you aren’t familiar with the preston-woodall house, it’s a gorgeous complex. The main house is a historic property that has been laviously refurbished both inside and out, with a function hall added on. There is a full outdoor ceremony area but as this (pre-covid) wedding was in December, it was just too cold to be outside. The great hall inside is beautifully adorned with stunning chandeliers and wall sconces.
The bride & groom got ready in separate houses on the grounds. The preston-woodall house maintains several smaller houses just across the street from the main property. They didn’t have a first “look” but they did exchange notes, carefully, around the corner from each other. When Jefry finally sees his bride during the ceremony, he was overcome with joy. The entire day really brought true meaning to “friends & family” as it felt as if everyone there was family, by birth or by association.
