Over the past year, I’ve had a great many opportunities for photo shoots that are more portrait oriented. What I really love about shooting portraits is the time, planning and feel you can absolutely focus on instead of having so many external pressures like you have at weddings. Now Lauren and her husband, Brian (which is an awesome name BTW), had called me about doing a rather unique portrait session as a present for her.
Brian had bought Lauren a gorgeous cello some time ago and he had an idea to shoot a portrait session with it. After some discussion, we combined ideas and came up with Lauren playing the cello in a large field. Combine that with a few spectacular dresses and some (what I would call) a pretty good photographer and you get some spectacular results! I hope you enjoy a few photos from her session!
