North Carolina Photography Workshop | June 27th & 28th, 2010

Yes, I am pimping this out again. The WPS (Wedding Photographic Society) board members are putting on a North Carolina Photography workshop (2010 WPS Convention) on June 27th & 28th, 2010 at the RTP Hilton in RTP, NC (outside of Raleigh, NC). The focus of this workshop is wedding and portrait photography and will include a day full of seminars with 5 speakers touching on marketing, sales, lighting, boudoir and client interactions! The 2nd day will feature each of the WPS board members holding “lens lessons” where we go over an aspect of our own photography, mentor sessions and open forum talks.  I am honored to be speaking on wedding photography sales techniques and holding two lens lesson sessions on guerrilla lighting.

The best news about this is the cost! It’s only $150 for two days of immersive learning from working wedding photographers. The convention will differ from a workshop in there will be ample opportunities to network with other photographers, set up your own shoots, party down with members of the Raleigh wedding industry on Sunday night and, the best part, we are donating all proceeds from the mentor sessions & party (party is free, donations are asked for) to Give Kids the World.

This convention will be huge and just to name a few sponsors we have supporting us:

B&H Photo
Finao Albums
Kendall Hartcraft
Alienskin Software
Marathon Press
ProDPI

This workshop is also different in one huge respect.  There will be nothing on a table in the back of the room for sale.  We have had an overwhelming response so far and the mentor sessions are almost all gone! To get more information please visit the Wedding Photographic Society. If you have any questions you can email me directly from my website or from the WPS website.  Look forward to seeing you there!!!
