Lauri & Aaron have been a couple I have worked closely with in the months leading up to their Angus Barn wedding so it was a bit bittersweet for the day to finally arrive. While, of course, I am thrilled to be present at their wedding ceremony (honored in fact), it also means that it’s the end of a process we’ve been talking about for some time.
Lauri & Aaron’s wedding took place at St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh. St. Francis is a gorgeous facility with a spacious sanctuary, a really nice getting ready room and a great pastor. Lauri was absolutely beaming as she walked down the aisle as she as escorted down the aisle by her two groomsmen. Their beautiful ceremony lasted about an hour and afterwards headed over to the Angus barn for their reception.
If you are not familiar with the Angus Barn Pavilions, it’s a great indoor/outdoor location on the Angus Barn Campus. The room is filled with wooden beams, a big ass fan (don’t judge me, that’s the name), fireplace and, of course, great food. It was the perfect place for Lauri & Aaron to celebrate their wedding with close friends and family. The reception was, well, crazy! Every single person was up and dancing for the entire time until it was time to leave.
I hope you enjoy a few choice photos from Lauri & Aaron’s wedding!
