Sometimes I have a client who simply means the world to me. I’ve known Sarah for some years now and photographed her multiple times throughout that time. Modeling, senior photos and even some commercial photography so when I found out Drew had “popped the question”, I was genuinely excited; not just as a photographer mind you, but as a friend. So when she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was even more over the moon!
I always talk with my clients about “where’ they feel most comfortable during the planning stages of any photography session. Sarah & Drew were really quick to note they preferred the more urban feeling of the downtown area rather than a park/garden. This is why we are such a good fit – I love shooting in more urban environments as there is so much more structure to play with.
We started out on Fayetteville St and, let me say, we gotta give it up for Drew. While Sarah and I have known each other for years, this was our first time meeting. Sarah is a tough act to follow on your best day and despite having just met me and being brought in front of the camera for the first time, he totally rocked it out! It wasn’t long before both Sarah and Drew were cutting up, laughing and totally forgetting about the camera being present.
