Duke Chapel Wedding | Stephanie & Paul

I have so many weddings that I haven’t blogged it makes it difficult to do things in chronological order. I finally am able to write more about some recent Duke Chapel Weddings. Complete with a custom dress from Austin Scarlett and one of the best party bands in the area, their wedding was absolutely beautiful down to every last detail.

Like many Duke Chapel weddings, both our bride and groom started their day at the Washington Duke Inn getting ready with their family and respective bridal parties. Their rooms have this amazing natural light coming thru the windows so its a always a treat being able to photographically “play” there for getting ready photos. Once at Duke Chapel, the process hits overdrive with getting dressed, family and bridal party photos and, of course, getting lined up for the ceremony.

Our couples portraits were a little different for Stephanie & Paul. With both of them having graduated from Duke, we opted to travel around campus to both of their schools as well as Cameron Indoor stadium. We, somehow (lol),  talked our way thru security at the stadium while the Duke Women’s Volleyball team was warming up on the court. The team stopped their practice (amazingly) and gave us a couple of minutes on the court to get these very special photos of the couple. I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Duke women’s volleyball team for their graciousness and hospitality.

The reception was definitely one for the record books! Every wedding i’ve ever worked with the band borders on out of control. lol. Definitely one of my favorite party bands in the area and I think you can see by the photos that everyone had a truly amazing time!

I hope you enjoy a few photos from their wedding!
